Width of vinyl windows

June 21st, 2009

Most vinyl window manufactures tend to make windows 3.25 to 3.50 inches. The most common is three and a half inches. This usually means that when existing windows in a home are replaced with vinyl windows, they tend to take up more window sill space. Sometimes  existing window treatments will not fit with the new windows.
